Mr. R. Sathish Ramamoorthy is the founder of Tree. In 2004, he entered nature as a wildlife photographer. He not only photographed birds, but he also did a census of wildlife.
The Bond Between Him And Conservation
Being a creative art director, he had many conversations with conservationists to learn about forests and enhance his creativity. But after realizing the conservation effects, he wished to spread awareness to others on wildlife conservation mainly focusing on the young crowd who is the pillar of our future generation.
Previously he supported wildlife NGOs in Coimbatore, then decided to start his own NGO and engage youngsters in nature conservation and creating awareness on the positive aspects of conservation.
He started TREE – an Environmental NGO in Coimbatore, with the vision of enlightening and engaging others to conserve nature and wildlife along with fellow conservationists.

At TREE NGOs in Coimbatore, we are working hard to do Forest Restoration, Clean-Up Drives, and conserve the natural world through research and responsible interaction with society. Our research in the tropical forests of Coimbatore is focused on many facets of biology, frugivory, tree phenology, and ecological restoration. We collaborate with local communities to do tree planting, nature walks, clean-ups, and environmental awareness programs.
